Leave it to Martin Sheen to get me pumped up more than I've ever been for this game. I really didn't want to buy this game, as I did with the first Mass Effect, which I traded in as soon as I beat it, but this one looks too epic to pass up. Add in the fact that this game should give me 20 to 30 hours of total gameplay, I think a purchase of this Bioware title is absolutely warranted. Plus, I just sold my copy of Borderlands on Glyde for $40 so I'll get to put that towards this new purchase anyway.
I really hope to see this trilogy continue on past the final game on the 360 and maybe even turn into a movie. I think this could be the next generations Star Wars if done properly. Mass Effect 2 comes out next Tuesday, January 26. I'm so bored with my games so I can't wait to get my hands on this!
Anyone else going to purchase this game? Rent it? Watch someone else play it? What? The more I watch this trailer, the more chills I get.
UPDATE: Booyah! Bioware says there is lots of interest in a Mass Effect movie. It's only a matter of time my friends. Only a matter of time.
