MODERN WARFARE 2: FIRST PERSON STABBER?

One of the many reasons I get turned off by Modern Warfare 2, even though I still find it hard not to pick up the controller and play on a daily basis, is the elements in the game that do not involve shooting. This is a First Person Shooter correct? How many times have you been killed only to be killed again seconds later when you re-spawn by some dude that comes up from behind and stabs you in the back? What cowards! What kind of strategy is this? It's pretty weak to me. But the thing is, it works.

Almost every match I get into, there is at least one dude running around like a mad-man, stabbing and jumping all over the place. These guys knife-lunge at you so hard and so fast, it makes me think I'm playing Halo 2 all over again with the energy sword. Seriously though, is this a First Person Shooter? Or should this game be re-labeled as a First Person Stabber?

This is just one element that makes some players absolutely livid over the multiplayer experience Infinity Ward has created in Modern Warfare 2. I've seriously contemplated trading this game in, but at this time, there is no other game to trade it in for.

March 2nd can't come soon enough.
